Custom Wiper Stiffeners

In addition to standard chip deflectors, Bermar offers metal options called stiffeners to mate with way wipers and wiper strips. Stiffeners, made from 16ga. and 11ga. cold-rolled steel, are mounted on top of the wipers without altering the 3/8 thickness of the wiper. While the stiffener lacks the lip of the chip deflector, the width of the stiffener covers the wiper enough to provide adequate protection.

Stiffeners can easily accommodate the customer’s dimensions.
